Here is the review of Nokia 5800 the much hyped first touch phone from Nokia. I have been using this phone for about a year now.
The biggest disadvantage for me with this phone is unlike Iphone it's not multi touch screen. That means if you tap the screen with two fingers at two different locations of the screen it can't recognize both the taps simultaneously, it would make out only one tap. Due to this many of the functionalities like zooming and scrolling are not easy on Nokia 5800.
The built-in media player is not that good in organizing the media content. Even though the phone has options for creating new playlists, it is not that easy to create one. This is because once a new playlist is created the user has to pick songs from all songs list, which is usually a huge list. It is like searching for needle in an haystack. The media player also does not provide options to play songs by directory.
I somehow feel like the sensitivity of the mic in Nokia 5800 is very low, I find myself shouting so that person on the other end does not complain of hearing me.
